Ismolène & Chipolata

Illustrations by Sara Gréselle

Ismolène is a show dog, pampered, spoiled and over-protected by her masters. Chipolata, her neighbour, is neglected by an owner who spends more time playing « Dario Car » than walking her. Everything keeps them apart, and yet they are friends, often conversing over the fence that separates their gardens.
One day, tired of their cramped lives, they decide to hit the road in Ismolène’s masters’ gleaming Thunderbird. After coming up with an ingenious ploy to enable little Chipolata to reach the pedals and see the road at the same time, they embark on a hectic road-trip, from petrol stations to photo booths to the beach.
Ismolène and Chipolata are ready to do anything to pursue their dream! But freedom comes at a price, and danger is just around the corner…

Freedom, friendship, kibbles and rock’n’roll!
