Abigaël has had enough. Every time she tries something, it ends in disaster. So this time she’s made up her mind: she’s not going to do anything! This way, it’s impossible to go wrong. Unfortunately, she has to go on a field trip. She gets lost in the forest. She has no choice but to spend the night there. Will she manage to find shelter for the night? Yes! And find breakfast? Yes! Jeanne Verlhac is a young French illustrator based in Brussels. She studied illustration at the École Estienne in Paris and then at the Académie royale des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, graduating in 2023. She enjoys creating playful, colourful and humorous works, often inspired by pop culture. She has also worked as a bookseller, and takes part in exhibitions and collective works. Abi is giving up is her first book.
