The Turtle & the two Ducks, and other fables by La Fontaine from an Arabic source

Some of Jean de La Fontaine’s fables have ancient origins. The writer was inspired by several sources, including the Arab tales of Kalila and Dimna. We invite you to take a journey back over 2,000 years and see the Fables in a new light, accompanied by the delicate miniature paintings that illustrated the stories at their source.
