Text and illustrations by Mathilde Brosset

Today, it’s a party! The children have put on their best costume: bird, whale, dragon or butterfly.

But Nils is crying: he is not disguised like the others. His friends decide to cut out little pieces of cloth from their costumes. It’s enough to turn Nils into a harlequin!

This book pays tribute to the legend of the famous character from the commedia dell’arte. The collage technique of Mathilde Brosset is not unlike the patchwork made of pieces of fabric.

A rhythmic album, playing on repetition and accumulation.
