Emmanuelle Halgand
Author and illustrator, Emmanuelle Halgand lives and works in Rouen. After studying art history, graphic design and the sociology of cultural audiences, she has devoted herself for the past ten years to the creation and animation of book mediation workshops. She is currently preparing several books as well as a doctorate on the mediation of children’s books. She is inspired by the colors of her childhood to compose her clear, fresh and lively illustrations.
She is the author of La petite marmotte qui ne voulait pas dormir and Le voyage des éléphants published by Magellan & Cie as well as Les délices de Monsieur Fernand published by Editions du mercredi. She also signed the illustrations of La lumière de Bouchka on a text by Rachel Hausfater for Éditions du mercredi and the album Dans les longs cheveux de maman written by Ingrid Chabbert.
